Binary Domain and Yakuza creator Toshihiro Nagoshi has been appointed as Sega’s new chief creative officer.
Nagoshi is rising up the ranks as a result of an executive reshuffle instigated by the retirement of COO Okitane Usui, who will leave the company on March 31. While Naoya Tsurumi will be replacing Usui in his role, Shigeru Yamashita and Yuki Sugino will serve as managing directors.
Binary Domain was released in the UK last Friday but unfortunately failed to enter the top forty charts. SEGA are also collaborating with CAPCOM and NAMCO Bandai for a new mystery 3DS title.
