Paper Mario has now been given a vague TBC for Europe
As well as it’s financial report released earlier today, Nintendo also provided an updated list of upcoming first-party Wii, 3DS and DS releases for this year and beyond.
Those expecting Wii U release news will be disappointed as this is strictly limited to 3DS, Wii and DS titles. However the list is still full of plenty of titles worth keeping an eye on. Japan for example will see Animal Crossing make its debut on the 3DS before the year’s out despite hardly anything being shown beside a few screens and a trailer.
American residents will be happy to see Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Luigi’s Mansion and Professor Layton on course for a 2012 release. They’ll also be excited to see Fire Emblem has been set for a release next year. Smash Bros for the 3DS is also mentioned with a release of… TBC. Shocking I know.
As for us Europeans, Inazuma Eleven Strikers is our only first party Wii title and we’re oddly missing out on Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition. Also Paper Mario has slipped from it’s previously thought 2012 release to a mysterious TBC. Will we have to wait till next year to get our hands on the new RPG? Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem as expected are set for a 2013 release.
