Seems even without GAME stocking copies, Mass Effect 3 is still able to break records. Sales for the third entry in the series surpassed that of both launch weeks for the first and second game combined. Impressive figures indeed.

Street Fighter X Tekken managed a third place entry beaten out by last week’s number one SSX. Mario Party 9 also continues to do well dropping just two places to five. The Sims 3: Showtime came in at six while 3DS exclusive Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D failed to even appear in the top forty. Full top forty can be found below:

Does this mean the industry will do fine without GAME?
