Last week saw the release of a few new titles and thanks to this, FIFA Football 2012 has now been taken off the top spot. Final Fantasy XIII-2 debuted at number one with the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection appearing at a surprising second. Usually remake compilations don’t make it this high in the charts so congrats to Konami.

Final Fantasy XIII 2 managed to topple FIFA, but just how long will it be able to hang onto the top spot?
Other new release SoulCalibur meanwhile failed to better both FIFA and Battlefield taking fifth. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim, Just Dance 3 and Saints Row: The Third claimed the remainder of the top ten. NeverDead (of which we’ll admit we didn’t know was being released last week) failed to even appear on the chart. Resident Evil also saw a large drop from it’s impressive showing last week falling below other 3DS titles Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 to nineteen.
