New Super Mario Bros 2 has received two new DLC packs, one of which is the rather brutal ‘Impossible Pack’, which features no coins or power-ups.

The ‘Impossible Pack’ adds a new difficulty level above the game’s 5-star rating, giving players a gauntlet of uncompromising stages to tackle. While the courses feature no coins, players will be rewarded a coin tally for the amount of time they have left at the end.

For those that want something a little easier, there’s also a new pack with 3-star difficulty titled the Mystery Adventure Pack, which delivers levels full of coins and multiple hidden areas and exits.

These will be the last DLC map packs for New Super Mario Bros 2 so I guess it’s time to wait for the New Super Mario Bros U DLC.
