The next episode appears to take you to a farm, much like the comics

After the impressive first chapter of The Walking Dead series, gamers have been eagerly awaiting news on the next. Well good news everyone! Developer Telltale has announced that the second episode in The Walking Dead series is out today on XBLA.

A PC release will follow on Friday while PS3 owners will also receive the game then too in North America at least. As for an European PS3 release that has yet to be announced. Telltale PR rep Alan Johnson Tweeted that it will be “soon” however.

The first Walking Dead managed to be Telltalle’s fastest selling game ever, with over one million copies sold in its first three weeks. With your decisions made in the first episode carrying over to later ones, it’ll be interesting to see how they will effect the story.
