This week’s Famitsu has announced a Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz demo for PlayStation Vita will become available to download in Japan tomorrow. While we still don’t know quite what will be included in the demo, one can guess it’ll offer a handful of stages and maybe a mini game.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz will offer a number of Vita exclusive features that include a two player co-operative mode where you and another player are connected via a giant tether and must together traverse a maze. Stray too far from your partner and the tether will snap so teamwork is key to winning.
More interesting however is the ability to snap pictures of items with the console’s camera and transform it into a brand new stage. If this works as advertised then you could in theory be looking at an infinite number of stages to play. You’re could also be looking at a number of penis shaped stages from users too.
More stages with a difficulty that is said to rival that of the originals, the return of Money Target plus more mini games and even online leaderboards round off would may be a return to form for the series.
