Super Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai is set to deliver the big keynote speech at the Computer Entertainment Developers Conference in Japan on August 20th.
While nothing has been revealed in terms of the actual content of the speech, fans will no doubt be expecting a deeper insight into the development of some of Sakurai’s biggest games such as Kid Icarus Uprising and of course Super Smash Bros. Does this mean we’ll see some news on the upcoming 3DS and Wii U versions? While highly unlikely since the focus of the conferences tend to be industry focused, never say never. Remember the Game Developers Conference which had Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata take the stage saw the first announcement of Super Mario 3D Land.
Either way it’ll be interesting to hear what Sakurai has to say come August.
