Wow! News on the limbless hero is moving along fast this week. First rumours broke out of an Arkenford marketing survey being sent out earlier this week showing off a handful of screens and a few details on a Rayman Origins sequel. Then UbiSoft registered domains for ‘Rayman Legends’. Now it seems a trailer has managed to find its way into the open with UbiSoft quickly taking any signs down ASAP. This looks like it could be the real deal. The past survey stated, “The sequel to Rayman Origins will feature brand new settings: legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, ghosts, Greek Gods, or dragons,” Judging by the trailer this description matches up.
The trailer can be found here but be quick as UbiSoft has already taken down a YouTube video. It features footage of new characters, online play, an altered art style and perhaps most interesting of all the use of Wii U, allowing the player to interact with environments using the touch pad. Finally players were placing figures of a Rabbid as well as Ezio for them to supposedly appear in-game! Crazy!
While this is yet to be confirmed, all signs are pointing toward this being true. Stay tuned for more info…
