Play 3DS Online For Free At Airports & Fast Food Joints

Published on April 25, 2012 by

3DS owners across Europe can now play their handheld online at over 25,000 Wi-Fi hotspots using Nintendo Zone. This allows users to surf the web, access the 3DS eShop and download SpotPass data.

At least five people in this photo are playing Kid Icarus online...

Expect to see this at fast food outlets such as McDonalds, KFC and more along with a number of major airports including London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.

To access these hot spots, you need to make sure you’ve upgraded to the latest firmware update on your 3DS. Then you’ll be able to race your friends on Mario Kart or even download the latest eShop titles while waiting on your plane.
