No Kinect support is good in my book

According to series creator Cliff Bleszinski it appears that the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War: Judgment will not feature Kinect support.

Bleszinski claims he is a fan of the the technology, but doesn’t see it as a good fit for the next Gears of War title. “I like Kinect, I’ve been a fan of it, but I don’t think it has been fully realised as far as the potential of the device. Dance Central 3 looks great and all, but I’m curious how the ‘core’ games will work out.” he told GamesTM in a recent interview.

What of the recently cancelled Gears Of War: Exile? Did any ideas make it across to Judgment? Bleszinski explained, “There are not a lot of things that wound up in there”. Makes sense considering Excile was hinted at being an on-rails shooter with the Kinect.

Gears of War: Judgment is planned for a release in the first quarter of next year.
