Earlier in the week we announced Mario Party 9 had been given a launch date in Europe of March 2th. Now we have been treated to a new trailer.

In an unusual twist it seems all four players now move around the board in a single car as apposed to on your own freely. Newly added boss battles also require you to all work together as a team. With a fairly open release schedule on the Wii, Mario Party 9 could fill the gap nicely offering plenty more hectic four player sessions with friends. We’ll have our verdict on the party in March.
