Minecraft has truly become a PC phenomenon since its release with gamers worldwide hooked, Derek in the office being one of them. Now the Xbox Live version is on its way and with less than one week to go till its launch, we’ve found a new video showing off footage of the much anticipated multiplayer. The Mojang explorer will feature two and four-player splitscreen, as well as up to eight player support on Xbox Live. Nice!

Minecraft will be available to download on Xbox Live May 9th for 1600 Microsoft Points.
