Bad news for Luigi fans as Nintendo today have revealed that Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will not make its intended release of 2012 in America.
Announced in Nintendo’s latest release schedule, the green plumber was stated as coming next year. “Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will now be available in the first half of 2013 in the Americas.” This game seems like its been in development forever and to have it delayed potentially another six months is disheartening. Hopefully Europe will not see the same fate.
Other big releases were announced including Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask which launches on October 28th and Paper Mario: Sticker Star which arrives a couple of weeks later on November 11th. Other important dates include Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! (October 1st), Skylanders Giants (October 21st), and Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion (November 18th).
While it’s good news we finally have a date for Paper Mario, seeing Luigi slip back is a big blow, especially since this was easily one of the most impressive and downright fun games of E3. More as we hear it.
