Game Boy Advance Games Coming To eShop

Published on September 12, 2012 by

It’s about time!

On the official Nintendo Australian website, Dr. Mario has appeared as available to download on the eShop. What’s interesting about this title is that it is a Game Boy Advance one, leading many to believe Nintendo will announce news soon that the format will be added to the online service. A new section has even been added for the format too.

Gamers who purchased a 3DS at launch were rewarded with ten Game Boy Advance games as compensation after theĀ  price drop. Nintendo were quick to add that these games were simply bonuses for it’s loyal fans and in no way meant we’d be seeing them coming to eShop any time soon. Maybe that is set to change.

With so many fantastic games on Game Boy Advance, here’s hoping we hear more from Nintendo on the subject soon.
