While E3 may have only shown the logo for upcoming Vita title Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified, Walmart has mistakenly given us a little bit more information to go on thanks to a leaked listing on their site.
Along with a shot of the boxart, the blurb also reveals “an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions“. Judging from this statement it seems likely we’ll see smaller, bite-sized chunks of missions in the game to better suit its handheld nature. A release date was given of December 31st but it seems very likely this is just a placeholder date for now.
Here’s the full blurb:
“Before the future could be won, history had to be written. Exposing that story exclusively on PlayStation Vita, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified explores original fiction in the Call of Duty Black Ops universe with an all-new campaign of Special Ops missions. Optimized for gamers on-the-go, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified delivers the most intense handheld Call of Duty experience to date, including both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.”
The listing has been removed unsurprisingly, but fortunately thanks to the caching feature of Google, its still possible to view the original lisitng.
