Alien: Colonial Marines has been in development for what seems like forever but with a launch date of Autumn 2012 fast approaching gamers on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and even the Wii U will finally get to see just if it was worth the wait. However let’s not forget Total War studio Creative Assembly are also developing an Alien title too.

In space no one can hear you scream

Nothing has been said of this mystery title since its announcement last year, but now it seems like SEGA are looking to bring the game to the next generation consoles likely from Microsoft and Sony. According to a job ad on their site it seems the developer are looking for a multiplayer/gameplay programmer to work on “a AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe”. Could this mean we’ll see their title on Xbox 360 and the next console? Who knows, but with a release likely far off, at least Colonial Marines should keep your Alien cravings at bay.
