Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Review

Published on May 22, 2013 by

I’ve always been a fan of Pokémon games, from the amazingly brilliant main series, to the hit and miss spin-offs. Even as more and more Pokemon were added leading some of the older generation to lose appreciation of the games, I was one of the remaining gamers to stick with them. It was only natural progression for the series and

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Review

Published on May 9, 2013 by

There’s always been something about the Monster Hunter series that’s made me keep my distance – whether it’s the fact I’m not the biggest fan of RPG-style games or the large amount of time you usually need to invest in a game like this, it’s something that has never really appealed to me. However with 3DS on a roll and

HarmoKnight Review

Published on April 2, 2013 by

When you hear the name Game Freak it’s difficult not to think of the Pokemon franchise. After all they have been the company behind the best selling series since day one. Rarely do we get a chance to see them venture onto new projects, (you may remember Drill Dozer – a delightful little puzzle title) sticking with the little critters

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 Review

Published on February 25, 2013 by

I’ll openly admit right now, Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 was not a game that appeared on my release radar. As a fairly naive manga viewer and someone who never tried the original game, I was not sure what to expect when this title fell on my lap but with an open mind and some excitement of

Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth Review

Published on January 31, 2013 by

Ubisoft have really stepped up when it comes to supporting the Wii U with great examples like Assassin’s Creed 3 and ZombiU leading the charge as well as the excellent looking Rayman Legends due in just a month too. Yes there have been some so-so additions, but overall the performance has been likely the best from any publisher so far

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Review

Published on January 21, 2013 by

Ninja Gaiden 3 on Xbox 360 and PS3 didn’t exactly receive the best of reactions from gamers and critics last year so why you ask yourself be excited for another version on Wii U? Much like a screen tested movie that has seen adjustments based on audience feedback, Razor’s Edge looks at the mistakes made in the previous versions,

Paper Mario Sticker Star Review

Published on December 5, 2012 by

The Paper Mario series is such a delightful one, with its lighter RPG style elements, self referential nature, kooky story and overall visually pleasing aesthetics. The original on the Nintendo 64 opened strongly with its sequel on the Gamecube delivering in my opinion one of the best experiences on the console. Even the more platforming focused Super Paper Mario

Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two Review

Published on December 3, 2012 by

I really enjoyed the original Epic Mickey on the Nintendo Wii. Sure it didn’t live up to its amazing initial concept art and failed to deliver it’s promised good vs. bad system, but thanks to a combination of fun Nintendo 64 style adventuring and enough Disney references to make PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s effort at fanfare look pitiful, it’s a

Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse Review

November is a pretty crazy month in the calendar for gaming, as we see AAA titles like Halo 4, Black Ops 2, Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 all hitting the shelves. These titles are so commercially and critically acclaimed that it’s incredibly easy for smaller games to slip under the radar unnoticed. Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse
