Burnout Crash, the downloadable Burnout spin-off from Criterion Games that launched late last year for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade is now coming to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad EA have announced.

The game split opinions of Burnout fans

The game takes the crashing feature from the series, gives you a top-down view and tasks you with delivering as much carnage and destruction as possible over 54 events and six locations. Expect explosions, ice cream trucks, bonuses, combos, natural disasters and… giant lobsters.

The game has not been given a release date, but David Hasselhoff mentions at the end of the announcement trailer that it’s coming soon. And you can’t get a better source than The Hoff himself.
