A good start for the RPG/FPS hybrid
The latest issue of British gaming magazine GamesMaster is in the hands of subscribers it seems and has a number of big reviews featured, one of which is for Borderlands 2.
While FIFA 13 managed an impressive 91% and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 a decent 82%, Borderlands 2 scored a very high score of 95%. “Bigger. Ballsier. Bullet-ier. Borderlands 2 is the antidote to stuffy military shooters.” summarises the review. A good start for this highly anticipated shooter it seems.
Borderlands 2 is out for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC September 21st.
Impressive! A lot of people may dismiss Gamesmaster Magazine as being “childish” but I have always found their scores to match up correctly with my own. Got to admit ashamedly, I never played the first Borderlands, but I will definitely give this one a more serious consideration. As for Fifa 13, I would be buying it anyhow after enjoying all Fifa’s post 08. Funny thing…I was ALWAYS a PES man until they dropped the ball.

If Gamemaster is right about borderlands 2, the game will be 5% less enjoyable as borderlands 1… I’ve pre-ordered as soon as the game was announced.
