It looks like the biggest game of 2012 will not be coming to the DS or 3DS if what n-Space founder Dan O’Leary says is anything to go by. When asked if n-Space was working on a handheld version for the next entry in the Call of Duty series he replied via Twitter with, “we have no first person shooters in development at this time.” Now while a Nintendo handheld version is looking less likely, this doesn’t mean that there isn’t a game being worked on by another developer, it just means n-Space certainly won’t be working on it.
n-Space previously worked on DS versions of the series starting off with Modern Warfare, afterward releasing four more titles for the console. The developer has since been working on a 3DS version of Rollercoaster Tycoon as well as the highly anticipated Heroes of Ruin, a game that will offer a large amount of online features including 4 player co-op with voice chat.
