Gaming site Kotaku has been sent a couple of photos taken by a Best Buy worker of the company’s employee news section. On the photos are promotional artwork for the next in the series of Assassin’s Creed.

One photo shows that Ubisoft will be unveiling Assassin’s Creed III on March 5, and that they’ll be pre-order bonuses too. More interestingly though we now have a setting in which the game will take place, The American Revolution.

If this is legitimate (and Kotaku emphasise this is still yet to be confirmed) then it l0oks like previous rumours have been spot on. The artwork shows what is believed to be the new character holding a tomahawk and pistol in front of the original Continental flag.

With the Games Developers Conference just days away it looks like we may see more of this title from UbiSoft soon.
