Angry Birds Trilogy Coming to PS3, 360 & 3DS

The series finally makes its way to consoles

An Angry Birds trilogy pack is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS later this year. The trilogy bundles the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio on one disc or 3DS cartridge. Sadly the newly released Angry Birds Space will not be included. It hasn’t been revealed if the trilogy will also include the extra free stages on iOS or if these will be added as DLC somewhere down the line.

Visually the game will be improved with animated backgrounds, added lighting modes and reactive backgrounds. It has also been revealed that all three will support Microsoft Kinect, PlayStation Move and StreetPass on the 3DS.

Rovio’s Executive Vice President of Games Petri Järvilehto, said, “You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition. There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen.”

Angry Birds Trilogy will see a release later this year.
